But then I have to think of Billy a schizophrenic patient of mine when working in psych. He was admitted for stopping his medication and bringing home road kill dead raccoon and cooking it for supper. Any way his Mother was also schizophrenic although you would never know it as she visited daily. She took meds and functioned very highly. Billy when stabalized was very functional too. If off their meds they relapses back into paranoid states. I could list a few other examples too. Love Phillipa
