Yes, you may not need your BP med anymore if your BP off meds stays in a good range. Can you reduce (split pill) the dose rather than stopping it, and monitor your BP daily.

Check your BP daily while on the BP med.
" " " on a reduced dose.If your BP stays in the 100-130/60-80 range on the reduced dosage I would hold it there.
If you really wanted to stop it entirely I would call my doctor and have a followup reading with all your recordings of BP on and off the med.
I do this with my husband all the time to adjust his dosage perfectly. No sense having your low BP make you feel worse, that is definately a probelms too! I have low BP all the time and feel like $hit becasue of it!

The only problem is sometimes the cuffs that are used in the home are not as sensitive as thsoe in the MD's office.
