All the literature provided with all of the medications we are all on, has warning about combining them with alcohol. That is a basic premise, right?

Occasionally a glass or two may be OK after you have been on something for awhile but when you are starting new meds or are on combos, it is especially dangerous. I fell and cracked my two front teeth while on Lamictal without the benefit of any alcohol, so, those are the risks...

I'm always surprised when someone here is asking if they can drink alcohol at all. It is always at your own risk and one may be able to, another (myself)will fall flat, as you did.

The choice is either or, not both.
