Yes, SSRIs can downregulate dopamine, including D2. It was the first thing tried on my Somatiform disorder, Luvox, and it actually did something that was a theory of my psychiatrist. I wasn't particularly partial to a neuroleptic then. But I now take Seroquel.-- Jay
