Wellbutrin XL side-effects

Posted by donut on February 12, 2007, at 16:51:41

Over the past two months my doctor and I have reduced my Paxil dose to 20 mg/day from 60 mg/day and supplemented the Paxil with Wellbutrin XL at 300 mg/day. I have seen some positive results from the Wellbutrin XL, namely that I no longer feel lethargic all the time and find it easier to eat properly. I don't know if it's due to the fact that I'm on 20 mgs of Paxil/day now or if it's because of the Wellbutrin but in a nutshell, like many here, I have been feeling unusually quick to anger, short-tempered, prone to feeling more anxious and more emotional in the past few weeks.

Has anyone found that the side-effects of Wellbutrin diminished in severity over time?

In addition to the Paxil at 20 mg/day and Wellbutrin XL at 300mg/day I am also using the bzd lectopam and the beta-blocker bisoprolol for anxiety.

Thanks to anyone willing to share their experiences.
