I like it too :) It's good for researching discontinued drugs and drugs which were developed but never marketed. It goes all the way back to the bromides eg.

Not sure. Some have hypothesised that the anticholinergic properties of the TCAs may contribute to their efficacy as ADs. Tofenacine (Elamol), an anticholinergic derived from orphenadrine, was formerly marketed as an AD in the UK. Not convinced it was effective though. Even if it was, it might not have been the anticholinergic properties which made it effective.
