I was only ever on Paxil for 2-3 weeks (it increased anxiety) so I really can't compare it with the others. Perhaps the Zoloft is making you feel well enough that you don't do as much comfort eating or perhaps well enough to get about and do more?

Hi Marsha and thanks so much for the warm welcome! :) And of course thank you for your reply to my post.

I too find Zoloft to be stimulating which has seemed to be a bit of a challenge with my anxiety issues. But at the same time it seems to be helping it. Slowly, but steadily. I anticipate the anxiety to lessen as my body continues to adjust to the Zoloft.

Maybe the Zoloft is helping my appetite as well as my metabolism as it does seem to be more activating than the Paxil. Whatever the reason, I am happy and hope it continues! :)

Paxil is sort of sedating to me so I welcome the stimulation of Zoloft as I have some energy, but as I mentioned above it has seemed to increase my anxiety as of late. But I expected it as I am weaning off the Paxil and know the symptoms of Antidepressant withdrawal. Luckily I have a great psychiatrist who is weaning me off Paxil as I increase my Zoloft instead of just switching me from 1 to the other.

Thanks again for your reply and I wish you all the best! Take good care and God Bless!

Sincerely,
CA 2 NJ
