> Hi JahL.
Howdy Scott.
Hope you're doing OK. You seem busy.
Whilst I've got you, do you remember me asking a while back why you hadn't tried opioids? Well, I ran out of Methadone some time ago and out of desperation I tried some Dihydrocodeine. I got about 8 weeks of robust response (maybe 30% global improvement) before poop-out.
It's interesting that my Bipolar should respond so well to such a weak opioid, when it responds to so little else. Obviously it has made my search for Vicodin that much more urgent. I don't believe opioids are 'the answer', for all the obvious reasons, but they're a very feasible 'stop-gap' measure until something better (CRF-antagonists) comes along. Just a thought.
But I had forgotten about EMSAM, and of all the Babble 'fad' drugs over the years, it seems one of the more promising.
Can I asked if you've tried it yet? I'm very curious to see to how the most treatment resistant respond to it. CrazyHorse's experience certainly offers a ray of hope.
Anyway, take it easy,
J.
