Prior to that I woke up several times a night unless I took Seroquel. We tried a few things for the insomnia such as Lunesta and Rozerem. Low dose Seroquel ended up working the best and with the least hangover.
I'd say don't be afraid to treat the insomnia and don't get too discouraged if it takes a little experimentation to find something that works well. Hopefully the insomnia will be temporary. Good luck.
