Upon a instant pain sharp and intense i went to the hospital,passed out as i was being xrayed.
Awoke to my pants being pulled off,no i wasnt in a porn i was instead being prepped for surgery,parents gave the ok.
I had an appendix flaring and about to burst any second.
I told everyone over and over i was on a Maoi,thats really all i was saying,and they responded saying it was fine,but i found it impossable for all the staff to know so fast,it seemed more like they were blowing me off and i was a little scared definatly not comoferted by there acnowledgment.
Anyway surgery went fine,lots of pain,had iv tank with a mix of 3 meds demerol being one,i was in heaven,i wish i still had that tank with me now.
Anyway upon release,i asked again when i go home can i take my med,again sure no problem.I did not fill the scripts they gave me for vicodin,tossed them,so the only med i had in me was from the tank.
After taking parnate,i began to feel what i came to know as the start of a interaction,i went through a little uncomfortability,but i stopped parnate immediatly and took precaution methods.
The feeling lasted the night,but i could tell it wasnt gonna get worse,instead better,however one more dose of parnate would have definatly did me in.I spent two days on low dose benzos and lots of moutain dew,then day three re started parnate with no ill effect.
So my parnate dose pre surgery did not affect it,id say that was in a 5 hr range.
So there was a short in between period andi stil was safe.
HOWEVER i had the anhestitc tank removed a whole day before i went home,so it was at least 24 hr in between time of removal of anteshtics to parnate re dose,and THERE WAS an interaction.
Make sense,kinda weird,id just make sure i felt confident in whoever provides u with ur final answer.I am planning on having my teeth done so im curious to find out as well as i hate dentists.Good luck nice seeing ya again
