You're levels could be hyper now instead of hypo. We can't seem to stabalize my thyroid, so I'm constantly going from hypo to hyper to hypo to hyper. I feel amazing when I'm hyper. The closer my TSH is to 0, the more amazing I feel. Tons of energy and just feel great! Unfortunately, if you feel good because of being hyper, that's not a good place to be and your synthroid needs to be adjusted accordingly. Your thyroid function is the first thing I would check before looking into any meds for mania. Just like being hypo can put you in a depressive state (doesn't mean you need an AD), hyper can do the opposite.

>I totally agree with this advice. You should be getting blood tests of thyroid function so your doctor can make sure your dose has not become too high. Decreasing the dose if it is too high will even you out without requiring anti-manic meds.
