I have no idea of the technical answer to your question, but I can tell you what I did and do. When I take 45 mg, I take them about 8 hours apart, or one tablet three times a day. I'm currently on 60 mg, and I take one in the a.m., two in the early afternoon, and one at bedtime. It works for me, but I don't know what the recommended way to take them is.
