Do you think more benzo's will come on the market?

Well for now i havent seen any.
Lunesta is newest in benzodiazepine related drugs.
But no actual benzodiazepines have been introduced.
Xanax was released in 1981, thats the last. Klonopin came out in '75 as a antiepileptic.
What are really the doctors thinking, SSRI's made there hit, but i dont know if there going to come out with more, proably.
I imagine if they do, (benzo's) it would more complex in its actions, maybe treat certain disorders besides anxiety,more OCD, some that work on serotonin receptors and GABA.
I think the market is hestitant to make new tranquilzers becuase they have already made there history. But i think they should, Klonopin is antimanic but makes me depressed beyound reality.
