I take it along with a set of other things including Seroquel for a rare somatiform disorder that affects my vision/contrast. I think at a high enough dose, Neurontin does provide relief for some people; if you already lean that way (ahem), it can cause diarrhea at extremely high levels. Other than that its extremely safe really because it eliminates from your body the more you take (hence high doses)
