I hear ya on the anti-xanax thing...its kind of like how docs avoid valium at all costs, and will RX just about anything--and I mean anything--to avoid having to write "valium" on an rx pad. Its absolutely ridiculous. Anyway, seroquel made me feel crazy too...I had low-grade headaches throughout the day, crazy dreams, I'd sweat a lot at nite, I kicked, threw punches, and screamed in my sleep....to top it off, when the dosage got upped and I tried to take it during the day, I had this 2-hour mega-panic attack from pharmaceutical hell that left me crying on the cold floor of my bathroom. So, yeah...most people do OK on seroquel, but bad things can and do happen with it as well.
