Hi Tom,
Dothiepin and amitriptyline are the most popular TCAs in the UK. Doxepin (Sinequan) and trimipramine (Surmontil) are also available but they're rarely prescribed.
Why don't you taper mirtazapine more gradually? Are you having side effects?
