Surgery while hypomanic?

I see my Gastroenterologist on Monday. I think he's going to recommend surgery. I've been slightly hypomanic the past few days, and apparently Wellbutrin is keeping me from getting too depressed.

Has anyone had surgery when slightly to moderately "brain ill" (much better than mentally ill)?

The surgery doesn't have to be done right away, but I want it ASAP, if possible.
