I don't know but there has to be a reason. The first time I took paxil l0mg it worked with low doses of xanax, then it didn't when I tried it again. The first time I took luvox I tolerated 250mg with no side effects along with 5mg of ativan. Then that dumb pdoc dc'd it and tried to say i was catatonic when I had just learned to relax in a therapy group in his practive. This was to get me in a Celexa trial when it first came out. I remember him saying I need l0 people. When I said no he waited a few weeks and then said the above. The celexa was horrible. After a month he finally took me off of it. Just gave me 5mg of ativan a day. Changed pdoc's and she attemped to try luvox again. It agitated me in low doses. After a few trials she managed to get me up to I think l50mg. I felt great, almost hypomanic and asked her if I could be. She said no. Then after about 3 weeks I began a downward spiral. None have worked since. Fondly, Phillipa
