No it could help. Celexa is an SSRI like Prozac. Anafranil is a tricyclic with serotonin and norepinephrine properties. I have taken Anafranil in the past and it helped when none of the SSRI's would help. I recommend you keep trying it. If it doesn't help, I would recommend Effexor. I am obsessive-compulsive also, I take it and it's the only thing that helps. I started taking it when Anafranil pooped out on me unfortunately.
