I had the same thing while I was on Effexor XR for the 8+ yrs I was on it. I asked a friend of mine who is a pharmacist and she looked it up in her med book and that is totally normal and OK. It also said that some of the drug is not absorbed until it is in the intestines. So you are not alone. :)
