I took it for two years and just finished tapering off it. I couldn't stand it. It made me jumpy, gave me a low frustration tolerance, gave me insomnia, etc. The only problem was it did help with the cycling. I started Depakote yesterday. Whatever happens, I won't go back on Lamictal.
