300mg Effexor XR - Nows the time to stop

Hi,

I have been taking 300mg EFFEXOR XR for approx 12 months now, and I think it is time to stop.
The short term memory loss and confusion are causing me more bad than good.
The morning lethargic feeling and continual dreaming at night are taking there toll.
All in all, it has worked well for me, but it is now time to move ahead. I will be going to see my doc this week to talk about going off this stuff.

Any advise would be great.?
What should I expect at 300mg?

Anyway, the day had to come to go off it.
