Are Benzo's effective in schizophrenia

I havent had much research on that but im intrested in this subject.

I know Ativan has been known to calm "mania" and schizophrenia episodes, or i guess psychosis.

I dont know about klonopin.

I found articles on this but i forgot them as usally... so ill go look them back up.

And are Barbiturates effective? (just random imput)

I would like to hear from you.
