No I'm in the UK also. I've just started on Nardil which is an MAOI. They are controversial drugs, some doctors prescribe them, others dont, but most agree that they can be a very powerful alternative to conventional treatments. They react with a substance called tyramine in foods, which means that there is a diet that needs to be followed pretty strictly. It is this potential (sometimes very serious) reaction that discourages many doctors from prescribing them. But you never know, it could be something to bring up with your doctor, and see what he says. I know that MAOIs are the only drugs many people on this board respond to. There's plenty of info on them in the archives if you decide to do some investigating. :)
