There was a group of women on the Social board who claimed to have had hormonal problems because of Lexapro. They all thought that the drug made them worse off. I agonized over whether to write this to you as I don't know enough about it but ultimately I decided to post it and let you make of it what you will. I personally tried Celexa but got off of it quickly because of the side effects (including, oddly enough, tachycardia. Every other SSRI I tried I tolerated well.) I do know of one woman who had great results from Lexapro but most of the others I've known about who did well on it were men.
