Hi there,
I have had my thyroid tested many times and never any problems. But it can be the culprit of MANY problems.
And I KNOW the seroquel can cause the most weight gain of almost ANY drug around. I was on it for a while as well and my doctor showed me a chart of the worst weight gain drugs. It and Zyprexa were at the top of the list. So, at least you know that it isn't YOUR fault!!!
Yep, the meds are a CRAZY art and science!

Hi all!

Interesting in that I ramped up my Seroquel dosage just this past February when my docs thought Seroquel was weight-neutral, and now apparently contrary evidence is creeping in.

I just started seeing an endocrinologist who works with my docs and really understands how the psychiatric drugs interact with the thyroid replacement. He says I'll "feel completely different" once we hit on the right combo of thyroid drugs. It's really interesting.
