here's one I found today that relates 5-HT polymorphisms to the ability to respond earlier to antidepressants....

When most experts talk about a ROBUST early response to a typical SSRI, they usually chalk it up to that individual having possible Bipolar symptomolgy. But I think this is definitely not a full explanation for most early responders. But as an atypical individual/Bipolar II sufferer who does respond early to most antidepressants, I do believe that this theory holds some clout.
