Strattera vs. stimulants for ADD / ADHD

Hi all,
I've been using stimulant meds for my ADD and my psych is interested in having me try strattera. Anyone here have experiences with strattera vs. stimulants? Is it worth making the switch? I do have side effects with the stimulants (irritablility, anxiety, social withdrawal, personality blunting, diminished empathy) however they work great. What side effect profile should I expect with strattera? Thanks,
