Sometimes it's best to heed the manufacturer's own warnings, but then again, they are often ridiculously overcautious, with a mind to their legal liabilities. Caveat emptor, I guess.
Just to highlight the fact that accuracy can't be taken for granted, HealthyPlace (http://www.healthyplace.com/medications/nardil.htm) helpfully inform the reader that the brand names of phenelzine are Nardil and Parnate! I doubt that anyone who has tried both of these drugs would ever confuse the two.
