In reply to Believe it or not, more Effexor questions!, posted by zefdie on April 22, 2004, at 13:06:12
I've been on Effexor since October so 7 months and I found the higher dosage I went on that's when i suffered alot of fatigue and other symtoms that I never experienced on a lower dose. I take 150 mg in the am and another 75 mg in the pm and when I was increased to 150 mg in the pm that's when I suffered the most of my symptom. When I spoke to my doctor about this I was told that sometimes Effexor will pick of symtoms of depression that were never experienced in the first place such as fatigue anxiety headaches etc. So basically i was told to split my dosage up that's why I take a pill in the evening and I stayed at the 225 mg per day. I'm not sure if I have helped you in anyway, but I did suffer fatgiue every time my dosage was increased. I found it went away after a few weeks plus my doctor only did an increase once a month. So maybe you should stick out the 150 mg for a week or so or possibly try the 75 mg once again.
