I lost weight in the beginning too. I thought I would be one of the lucky ones too. I haven't changed eating habits and I exercise regularly too. Unfortunately, I've gained. I currently contemplating weaning myself off. Weight gain is depressing in itself.

I guess I have been lucky, I have been on Effexor XR for over a month, I am now on 225mg, I take when I get up in the am. I have no appetite on Effexor and have lost about 10 pounds so far. I hope it stays that way!
