At any rate, lots of drugs have 5-HT2a blocking abilities which is thought to improve sleep patterns. Such drugs besides Remeron include Nefazodone, Prozac(weakly), all of Tricyclics & alot of the AP drugs. Interestingly Amitriptyline & Clomipramine are the strongest 5-HT2a blockers of the AD drugs & are also the ones that seem to have the track record of being the most successful.
