When I first started lexapro I took a sleep aid til it kicked in and I was able to sleep the whole night through on my own. I took half of a 10mg tablet of ambien. If you don't have access to that you could take a benadryl. But I'm sure your dr would be fine with prescribing ambien for you.

I know I'm whining, and I need to be patient, I've just never taken anything like this before. I'm looking forward to the day I get a full night's sleep...
