In reply to Anyone tried L-arginine?, posted by psychlover on January 5, 2004, at 1:21:16
> Hi, folks. I just read somewhere that L-arginine is supposed to be a good supplement for a variety of purposes, with few side effects or interactions. It's supposed to help create nitric oxide in the body, whatever that means. Has anyone had any good (or bad) experiences using this? How did it help?

> Thanks.I've found that taking L-Arginine over time boosts sexual response, though I've unfortunately not found it able to overcome the sexual side effects of antidepressants. There are studies that show it able to block proliferation of some cancers. I've not come across any studies showing it to have antidepressant or anti-anxiolitic properties.
