Sounds like you had a panic attack, and also sounds exactly like the kind of anxiety I suffer from (need to sit on aisle, worry about throwing up/passing out in public, apparently goofy fears that aren't that goofy when they determine where you'll go and what you'll do and make you feel relieved when a scheduled event is cancelled). I also have found that I can still imagine these scary things happening now that I'm on Lexapro, but they don't seem to get a very strong grip on me anymore. Like I'm able to acknowledge them and let go; they don't consume my thoughts.

I've only been on Lex for 10 days...but I'm definitely feeling better now and hoping for better than ever, which always makes me think of that awful song Candice Bergan sang so badly in the movie "Starting Over" and then I have to laugh...
