I took Topamax for awhile (for epilepsy) but needed 400mgs of it along with 1800mg of Neurontin...anyway, topamax at 400mg caused more problems than the epilepsy...with zonegran 100mg 2x/day I had no side-effects cognitive or otherwise.
Wow maybe I should bring this up. I looked on Remedy find and the people rating it the ratings were wonderful. Are you only taking it for epilepsy? My son has bipolar and is using topamax as a mood stablizer. Im worried since he is so bright and the dosage got increased right before he is about to take an SAT for a talent ID program :( the SAT portion is he is taking is he cognitive reasoning portion! Also did you not need neurontin or topamax anymore after starting the zonegran? do you feel like it stablizes ur mood as well?
