I'm coming off of XR, and tho' I have some withdrawal, it's really not as bad as some of these guys evidently have it. The long term effects will probably be the same for the two types of Effexor, and the short term ones "gentler" for XR - correct me if I'm wrong, anyone.
When I change my dose, I feel 'dodgy' for a week or so. I'm at 75 down from 225 just now.
