That wasn't all that consoling to me. I guess it's nice that weight falls back off in some cases, but the suggestions the doctor gives for losing weight are just lame. He says that if you know about the side effects of your med, you won't feel bad about not eating in response to an appetite increase. Huh? I think it's more a matter of not being able to resist the increased urge. That switching to a new med for less weight gain is suggested. Yeah... like which one? Then he says that maybe you can try a medecine that will specifically help you lose the weight. Is there such a medecine? Don't even mention Topomax - that med's a disaster (glaucoma, kidney stones, tingling, cognitive dysfunction).
