> I was wondering if any of you folks felt DIFFERENTLY on Celexa than you did on Lexapro? I too have felt Lexapro's anxiety side effects (I've only been on it 3 or 4 days)....but when I took one of my mom's Celexa tabs a couple of weeks ago, I didn't get that feeling at all...it just made me feel sort of tired (mellow)...of course I only took ONE Celexa pill for just ONE day, just to see what sort of reaction I'd get....but, again, have any/many folks mentioned that Lexapro makes them feel differently than Celexa? If so, how?

>Hi there, if Im correct your either taking zoloft or coming off it right. When coming off zoloft one of the symptoms can be anxiety. So when we dont wean of a med before starting another we really have no clue which med is giving us the symptoms or side effects. So at this point no one could tell you if it is the zoloft or the lexapro. Im not saying what the doc is having you do is wrong. Because you would get a different answer from each doc. So you really have to wait 30 days before the zoloft is out of your system. When I first started meds I was on paxil, then zoloft and xanax. I was truly messed up. The doc wanted me to start a new med. I refused and went cold turkey which was wrong. I should have weaned myself off everything. But after 30 days or so I got my senses back in order.I then went to lexapro and anything I felt, there was no confusion on which med was causing what. TAKE CARE!!!
