Hi, I am new to this board and it has been very helpful to me. i have suffered from anxiety and depression for many years, but believe it or not finally at 48 i am taking something. i started lexapro last week. i really have not noticed any difference but i know i have to be patient. i'm scared but reading all your stories has helped me as i have no one really to talk to about this. just wanted to say thank you for making me feel not alone.
