I was just wondering if anyone on this board had experienced signficant relief (or even slight relief) from anxiety and/or depression systems by taking either fish oil or Andrew Stoll's Omegabrite product. I have given Stoll's product two separate trails for my nagging, oh-so-impossibly persistent anxiety disorder and have not felt a darn thing. Last year, I took 2.5mg of omegabrite for about three months. Recently, I upped the dose to 4mg (10 capsules a day) and...didn't notice anything. Also, I find it odd that in Dr. Stoll's studies, his subjects received 8-10mg of EPA but to get that dose in his Omegabrite, one would have to take like 20 a day. That irks me and makes me think Omegabrite is just a money-making venture for Stoll. Why make the dosage level so low that somone would have to pay $250.00 per month to get the needed amount? But that's a whole different issue, about the ills of privatized, profit-based medicine. If anyone on the Dr. Bob's board has stories (successful or unsuccessful) about using fish oil or Omegabrite for anxiety disorders, I'd love to hear your response. I am a sucker for anecdotal evidence.
