Please provide the name of the web site you got your information from. Sense starting EXR my cycle has been totally messed up. Before EXR, it was every 28 days, three days long. I've also had feelings in my breast that remind me of when I was breast feeding. Did you have a lot of hot flashes while on EXR?
I've started cycling down on my dose of EXR. Today was my first day at 75 instead of 150. Can anyone say if this is too large a reduction at one time? I don't see my doctor for another month. I have a script for 75 and 150, so I thought I'd start getting off it now.
I don't want to take this *&^% anymore.
Hi Angel,
> I'm glad you're doing good on effexor. Just keep an eye on your female functions. Mine were the picture perfect, book example until I started on effexor. 2-1/2 years ago after I started taking EXR, my cycle started varing, then got to the point that I would have them for 2 weeks (heavy), off a week then get it for 2 weeks, off a week, etc. At 40 I thought I was too young for menopause but my family Dr. said I was starting peri-men. Went to my gyno and he said it could be possible but I should get a DNC. This worked for about 6 mo. but my cycle was still off-kilter (not heavy and lasted 5 days). Then the heavy came back and went into 6 weeks straight, Only to make an emergency appt. with my gyno. Guess what! I had a tumor (cyst) the size of a 6 mo pregnancy! It's been 8 weeks since my hysto. now and after reading the side effects on a website that was referred to from this site, I down loaded it 'pdf' format to take to my lawyer.
