The neck/shoulder pain could be muscle tension. I had terrible such pain before Effexor and it went away after about 2 weeks on. I think it was tension due to anxiety/stress. Do you have a lot of anxiety right now?
Does withdrawal really cause hallucinations? What kind? Visual? Auditory? Both??? Yikes.
