I have been taking Lexapro 20mg/day for 6 months. YES - I have gained about 7 pounds of ugly fat on my 6' frame (male - 40yr old - athletic) I work out regularly, and I cannot get this weight off no matter what I do - diet and tons of cardio have done nothing. I've always been very fit. I suspect this drug slows your metabolism significantly in some people. I also don't like the lack of sex drive I am experiencing. I am requesting my psychiatrist switch me off this drug. HATE IT!
