Well, I hope this isn't an unacceptable post but I do know that SSRIs and sexual side effects can be a real nuisance (to say the least) so I'm going to offer this up and hope I don't get "in trouble."
This is for the females in case it isn't already obvious . . . and it involves three important words: "Hitachi Magic Wand." Since you can even find information about it doing a search on Amazon I'm going to hope it's an acceptable - uh, suggestion/recommendation.
This appliance could pry an orgasm out of an oak tree.
Perhaps this topic has been covered here before, if so, so be it. It's a gadget whose merits bear repeating. Over and over and over again.
Every time I see the subject of sexual side effects on this board I think about posting this tip - but the words "It did go away with a lot of my husbands help in about two months" - inspired me to finally go ahead and bite the bullet.
As for how I found out about it . . .
I had recommended another type in the past, but then I read an article in Allure magazine about a writer who went to a sex therapist in New York in order to gather information for a story she was writing. This woman touts these things and apparently even throws one in with the cost of a session.
Additionally, I think this might be the one that was referenced one time by Samantha on "Sex in the City."
I don't know if it helps release serotonin but it does a bang-up job on endorphins.
