My suspicion is that it often comes from agitation. I've had constant agitation and bottled up feelings for years, and it gets worse when I'm conscious of being on a powerful medication. Could it be that some of you are wary of side effects and therefore feel the tightness? I find that the tension goes away if I consciously change my mindset and relax my muscles--leading me to believe it's me not the medication.
