First of all, I have no interest in using anything to enhance my performance and give me an unnatural edge against my competitors...therefore the concern of taking Adderall while I train and compete (thus the initial question)
Secondly, Adderall has made a dramatic improvement in my life and right now I am trying to balance the pros and cons (thus the initial question).
Thirdly, I have not (yet) taken Adderall prior to any of my morning workouts so I do not yet know the effects (thus the initial question).
Thank you,
OP
> First of all, it's a banned substance. Of course, unless you are an olympic caliber athtlete, you probably won't be tested in your competitive endevors. However, you may find this unethical, as you will no doubt be competing against others who do not use banned substances.

However, some weeks later, I had one of the biggest and longest depression crashes I ever had, and that's saying something, 'cause I've had many whammies.

I would just strongly warn against taking it strictly for a performance boost. I believe you'll pay for it, one way or the other. My advice for better performance: train harder, hit the gym and eat well.
