The standard known proceedure is for docs is to prescribe a benzodiazapine such as ativan,xanax, valium, or klonopin to counteract the start-up side effects you're describing (anxiousness) during that period.Then there are those that will find the effect of AD's to be ultimately too "stimulating" or create a kind of "hyperarousal" (euphemistically to *them* anyway, referred to as "activating").
