> I have noticed since day 2 of taking Lexapro that my appetite is significantly decreased. At first, I thought it was because of the severe nausea. Now, I am not nauseous and I still have no appetite. Sometimes I forget to eat all day and don't realize it. I need to lose weight anyway, but I know skipping meals is not good. With all the other SSRI's (ESP. PAXIL!), I experienced INCREASED appetite (which lead to weight gain).
> Has anyone else experienced decreased appetite with Lexapro? I'm not exactly complaining about this s/e, but sometimes it's scary for me to go all day without eating and not realize it.

Of all of the SSRi's, Celexa was the only one that clearly decreased my appetite as well (r+s-citalopram). Celexa+ a little dexedrine caused a mild anorexia. Zoloft/Paxil increased appetite, Prozac/Luvox didn't notice much difference.
