I certainly haven't experienced any unusual
cravings for alcohol while taking Effexor; in
fact, I got sober while taking this drug. I
am part of a 12-Step group and have been sober
for one year. I have been craving carbs and
refined sugar but I think that's more from
giving up the alcohol and less a side effect
of taking Effexor.
